Our Resin - Plant

Production process

  • Formaldehyde and Technical grade Urea are mixed in a reaction vessel in a  particular molar ratio and heated to a desired temperature. After maintaining the desired temperature as per the process demand, and addition of a series of catalyst in sequence Urea and Formaldehyde react to form Urea Formaldehyde resin in the required specification. The product hence obtained is cooled and stored in the storage tank.

  • Urea Formaldehyde resin which is the essential raw material required for the Plywood industries, Particle Board and MDF. We have the facility to manufacture 120 TPD Urea-formaldehyde resin per day. Almost 70 % is utilised by our own Particle Board and Plywood industries.

  • We have also the facility to produce Phenol-Formaldehyde resin and Melamine-Formaldehyde  Resin. This is also used for our own consumption to produce marine plywood.
